I don't believe consulting is about lecturing and generating analytical report cards on your company. I feel that a true consultant needs to become a member of your team and a trusted partner in your company's long term strategies for growth and stability.
In 2004 I formed EJN Consulting to provide hands on solutions for clients in government, sales, operations, security and customer service. We service clients involved in a wide range of public and private industries. Our down to earth programs on sales, marketing, management, strategic operations and service provide our clients with step by step formulas for growth and customer satisfaction. My success is reflected in the growth, stability and prosperity of my clients. I have over thirty years of broad management and supervisory experience from line supervision of unskilled manual labor to managing a sophisticated, fast paced and well educated staff of Executive, Engineering, Administration, Sales, Security, Special Operations, Service, Production and Market Center Managers. I negotiated several Teamster and AFL-CIO contracts. Three of them were negotiated during a wildcat strike, during which we avoided any interruption of operation in spite of the loss of over 100 employees overnight. I have dealt with violent situations in the workplace and geographical job locations as well as subtle racial and sexual discrimination and harassment issues. I have testified before the NLRB and litigated various labor issues through formal grievance procedures and arbitration. I have worked extensively with internal human resource staff as well as external legal, psychological, motivational and organizational consultants to build and sustain a positive and productive workforce. When I ran Morgan Services Boston, we set a three year record for simultaneous profit and growth that had not occurred in the 100 year history of the company. During my years in operations we won the Number 1 Plant Award at least every other year for superior results in quality, productivity, cost control and safety. Automatic Control Systems hired me as VP of Sales and Marketing to solve their slow growth problem. We doubled the size of the company in 14 months. Among my achievements as a consultant are:
